During the height of the psychedelic era in the summer of 1968 a young Cliff Cooper opened a second hand guitar store in London. The major guitar amp manufacturers of the day refused to supply his store so he employed his own electronic expertise and began manufacturing Orange Amplifiers as we know them today. Since then Orange has always been known as a pioneering force in guitar and bass amplification. Orange's reputation was built on delivering high quality without compromise on construction and tone.Today Orange can be seen on stage with some of the biggest bands in the world, including Prince, Jimmy Page, Slipknot, Oasis, Rush, and The Mars Volta.
