Ive seen these guys three times already, an no matter how big or small the crowd is, they ALWAYS put on an amazing show. And I have to say its great to finally see a band so outspoken about their faith as these guys are playing this tour. Hopefully they'll have a lot of good influence on people.
@Vinnyblasphemy13 this is no where near whitechapel
check your genres kid, this is metalcore not deathcore.
btw, cut your hair

For those of you judging for today just because he preaches!! There is only one reason that they are up there and its to glorify god and yea that means hes going to spend time preaching but i promise you this one day your going to be laying in bed saying f my life and your going to remember what mattie said then you wont be so ignorant!!! and he couldnt give to fs what you believe in either hes going to do what hes going to do forever
FOR TODAY!!!!!! ITS A WARP!!!!!! LOVE THIS BAND! follow me on twitter if you love this band, @evencupiddrinks
This is great! Their songs are killer and have deep meaning! They will make a great impact at warped and they are also a great add to the list as well! :)
Was at their Ventura show this week. The venue totally sucked, but they still killed it. I'll definitely be going to warped tour to see them in a real venue!
I have nothing against Christian bands, or even overtly Christian lyrics. However, when you take not only one, but TWO 10 minute breaks in the middle of your set to preach Jeebus and god and hellfire to everyone.. Then have professional proselytizers up on stage after the show's over to save you from eternal hellfire. That's what's gonna turn me off your band completely. After the first preaching session, I completely lost interest for their performance. We're here for your music, bros. Majority of us give no f*cks about what you believe in. It's honestly just pathetic for them to use their position as a band to push religious dogmas on you. If you're thinking about attending their set, be ready for much of it to be dominated by preaching.
@jordycrook
Bro a lot of what I listen to is Christian and it's good stuff! August Burns Red is Christian and they are epic! They need to get them on this tour! Also the frontman of Miss May I is a Christian but they still make some of the best music I have ever heard! Check out Composure and Up Against the Ropes by ABR and Gears, Forbidden, and Masses of a Dying Breed by MMI

Dude I saw them at the Dead Throne tour too and I would kill to see them again! As hard as the crowd moshed with Whitechapel, I moshed the hardest to For Today! Even though the Fight the Silence tour won't be coming to my town, count me in for Warped, especially now that Of Mice and Men is in on it too! XD

I saw these dudes at the Dead Throne tour. It was such an honor to mosh the shit out of the pit to them! On that night, i vowed that i'd see them a second time. Although i'm not too much of a fan of this year's lineup, Warped Tour has done me proud with adding For Today this year, along with 5 other GOOD heavy bands. =)

Abandon all Ships is NOT a Christian band whatsoever, brah. They may have a few "Christian" members, but they curse a LOT at every show that they go to. They also have a bunch of suggestive lyrics.

@Whats A Breakdown
Just to add to your list.
Abandon All Ships, As I lay Dying, Attack Attack!, I The Breather, Memphis May Fire, Owl City, Paramore, Red, Relient K, and Switchfoot... If it means anything to anyone, U2 is a Christian band.
As well bands like Greely Estates, Miss May I, and We Came As Romans all have some if not most Christian members.

@ramblinwreck_21 They're just preaching their message of God and trying to get people to accept him. That's the whole goal of their music and shows. What they're doing is great and inspiring and they'll continue to preach their message, just don't go to their set if you don't like it???
this band has wayyy to much god for me. i dont like a sermon in between each song. you can talk about jesus one or two times through out a show, but dammit i cant stand how this band approaches things.
@Jordycrook there are a LOT of christian groups that were way before these bands
Hopesfall Beloved Zao The agony scene And then there were none Blindside
Emery The chariot Demon hunter Haste the day With blood comes cleansing
Winter Solstice Thrice Still Remains The Showdown Showbreed Norma Jean
Nodes of ranvier Life in your way Skillet Before their eyes As cities burn
Underoath
and then the newer/new age bands
August burns red Becoming the archetype Gwen Stacy Advent Blessthefall
Blessed by a broken heart Confide The crimson armada Burden of a day Dizmas
Destroy the runner The devil wears prada Family force 5 Flyleaf War of ages
Woe of tyrants Impending doom To speak of wolves In the midst of lions
Maylene and the sons... Inhale/exhale Oceana A plea for purging Once nothing
Oh, Sleeper Remove the veil Sleeping giant Texas in july Symphony in peril
Thousand foot crutch Sever your ties
Take your pick man.... alot of what you hear today or have heard in the past are bands that started in churches.... not saying hardcore is christian or anything like that, but I bet there are a lot of these bands that you didn't even realize were "chrisitan bands"
