What is obvious is that I got talked down to because I shared my opinion on a band. You don't have to be original to be good, but this band is neither.

it's obvious that deartragedy88 just likes to start shit with people, and honastley, not a whole lot of bands do anything fully original. they take parts from songs of other bands to come up with something cool. Can't wait to see these guys in denver!!

Welp, it's official, elija is the biggest faggot here ever on the warped boards, nice job, old lad, not only are you completely naive and have no idea what your talking about (aka full of fail) but you pull with off with complete negligence of others music and believe your so better and above everyone's taste in music (delusional), if your like this in real life than I feel very sorry for you that people actually have to sit there and hear you phew shit like in public and have hear it with a straight face.
Tl;dr- lolwut?
coheed678 coheed678
And to Elija, none of these bands would even be around if bands like Anthrax and Black Sabbath werent around so you should appreciate those bands

@deartragedy88 I'm not trying to start anything even though it seems others have already been insulting your taste in music. Everyone has there own opinion. You have a right to hate whatever you want and honestly you may express it. I absolutely love Chunk! No Captain Chunk but just because you're giving your opinion shouldn't make me (or anyone else here) insult you. Please just ignore the other idiots fighting with you. -_-
deartragedy88 deartragedy88
The fact that you think Chunk! No Captain Chunk! are doing anything original lets me know to not take you seriously. Popularity and energy of a band's live performance is not a part of my criteria for liking a band. The fact that you think I am a metal elitist by a few bands I listen to and unrelated comments towards a shitty band puts a smile on my face. All I know is Anthrax, Black Sabbath, and Bad Religion have been around for 30 plus years and continue to put out quality music. We will see if any of those bands you listed stand the test of time, but my money is on no.

To that "deartragedy88", You don't just come in here and hate a band like that. Even tho it is your opinion, Keep your negative opinions to yourself. If you got nothing good to say, just don't say it. And everyone else, It's just one opinion, why do you guys care so much? fuck what he thinks lol. But i do give some props to Deartragedy88. He listens to New Found Glory, Yellowcard and a few others that i saw on his page. NFG and YC are rumored to play this year. so excited! :D! but yeah. This band's pretty amazing. :)

First off, the Rev sucks, A7x blows. Second off "DearTragedy" you listen to bands like Anthrax and your name is DearTragedy? You sound like an emo faggot to me. Don't go hating on actual good bands that are doing something new and original like Chunk. How's the fanbase for Bad Religion going? Growing strong? I think not. I think you and all the other stupid fucking old school metal elitists need to die out so the new school can take over, what we're doing is 10 times heavier, and takes way more talent than any old school metal band. If you come to Warped this year make sure you stop by The Ghost Inside or Born of Osiris, then go check out a Black Sabbath show and tell me who has more energy. Yeah, us. Thanks. Catch you in the pit.

Pop Punk, Screamo
from Paris, France
CHUNK! NO, CAPTAIN CHUNK! ARE THE LIFE OF THE PARTY. Named after the '80s classic adventure movie 'The Goonies' and with a sense of fun that sees them make their own rules musically, this French beatdown pop punk quintet are sure to bring a giant smile to your face with their rousing, anthemic and infectious debut 'Something For Nothing'. Forming in 2007 in Paris, Bertrand Poncet (vocals), Paul Wilson (guitar/backing vocals), Eric Poncet (Guitar), Mathias Rigal (Bass) and Jonathan Donnaes (Drums) came together as Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! due to a desire to combine the energy of punk, the catchiness of pop and the crushing assault of hardcore into a powerful party sound to win friends and fans all over the world. With the track 'In Friends We Trust' and its accompanying wild house party/show video, it's obvious that these guys are about having a good time, all the time. With the band having remixed and remastered their debut album 'Something For Nothing' for a brand new re-release through Fearless Records, which also includes the addition of new track 'Make Believe', these young, upbeat punks have never sounded so exhilarated and energetic. Tracks such as fan favourite 'Captain Blood' and the mighty, aptly titled 'Positiv-O' prove exactly why they already have a dedicated diehard fanbase that's getting bigger and bigger every show.Spreading their good times vibe and truly staying out for the summer, they're currently out on their first ever USA tour, the 2011 Summer pArtery Tour, with In Fear And Faith, Vanna, A Loss For Words, Close To Home, Ten After Two and Adestria. After their American assault the five-piece turn their attention to the UK and mainland Europe in October and November to hit the road with Miss May I, Chelsea Grin and Abandon All Ships. With these line-ups as diverse as the band's sound, Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! are sure to win over pop punk fans and hardcore kids alike. With a ripping re-released album, a new record label to call home and touring to meet friends and party all over the globe in the coming months, it's clear that they've got an insatiable taste for this life and music and nothing can stand in their way.
